Design space for collaborative work.
My Role
I recognized that the XD team needed a large collaborative space and that the company needed a place they could walk people thru to show off the customer-centric approach to product design. I pitched the idea and secured the funding. My team designed the space.
We keep a running tally of great design work shipped in the last few releases. This help everyone understand the impact the XD team is having on the business. These posters are also shown on monitors throughout the company.
The WIP board gives everyone a chance to review and comment on ongoing design work.
Lots of open wall space for ideating, drawing, posting, and collaborating.
Keep the principles of the Design Vision close at hand and top of mind.
